어느날 런던, 트위티와 실베스타를 데리고 루니 클럽에 간 할머니. 그곳에선 퇴역 장군 림파이어가 자신의 쿨캣에 대한 추격담을 이야기하면서, 이제 추격을 포기했으며 영악한 고양이들을 당해낼 수 있는 존재는 세상에 없다고 호언장담한다. 클럽에 오기 전 아이들이 뛰어 놀던 공원이 시 재정 문제로 문을 닫은 것을 본 할머니는 공원을 구할 돈을 마련하기 위해 림파이어 장군과 내기를 하게 된다. 할머니는 트위키가 세상 어느 고양이보다 영리하며, 80일간 세계를 돌며 80마리 고양이의 지문을 찍어 오는데 성공할 수 있다는데 자신의 모든 재산을 거는데...
