마을의 작은 도넛 가게에서 일 하는 조니. 어느 날 그의 삼촌인 괴짜 과학자 루서가 조니의 노트북을 가지러 가게를 들른다. 평소 사이가 좋지 않던 도넛 가게의 사장과 실랑이를 벌이던 루서는 최근에 개발한 돌연변이 시약병을 튀김기에 빠뜨린다. 그로 인해 킬러 도넛이 된 도넛들이 마을 사람들을 향한 무차별 공격을 시작한다. 이를 알게 된 조니는 오랜 친구 미셸, 하워드와 함께 해독제를 구해 식인 도넛들을 막으려 하는데...
