1970년대. 보통 소녀들과 다를 바 없는 16세 소녀 사야. 하지만 그녀는 국가로부터 인간 사이에 숨어 지내는 뱀파이어를 찾아 없애는 비밀 업무를 받아 수행하고 있는 중이다. 그녀 스스로 인간 아버지와 뱀파이어 어머니 사이에서 태어난 혼혈로서 정체성의 혼란을 겪고 있는 사야. 그녀의 최종 목표는 뱀파이어 수장인 오니겐을 죽이는 것이다. 일반 고등학교. 모든 것이 일상적으로 돌아가는 것 같은 한 고등학교에 잠입한 사야. 하지만 그녀는 바로 뱀파이어의 공격을 받게 되고, 그 모습을 목격한 동급생 알리스는 고위층 장교인 아버지에게 이 사실을 알린다. 그리고 그날 밤, 체육교사 파웰의 진짜 모습을 목격한 알리스는 자신과 다른 사야의 운명을 몸소 체험하게 된다. 한편 자신에게 직접 업무를 하달하는 정부 요원 마이클과 루크가 대립하면서 사야의 운명은 다시 한번 예측할 수 없는 길로 들어서게 되는데…
