1908년, 파리를 방문한 상류층 귀족 로드 번스태드는 포커 게임 도중 그의 집사를 잃게 된다. 에거버트와 에피 플라우드는 집사 러글스를 워싱턴의 레드갭으로 보낸다. 에피는 러글스의 배경을 이용해 에그버트의 촌스러운 생활에 영향력을 미치려 한다. 하지만 에그버트는 파티에만 관심을 가지고 러글스를 맥주파티에 데려간다. 그의 요리실력에 반한 주드선 부인과 친구가 된 후, 러글스는 독립해 레스토랑을 열기로 결심한다. (2013년 제13회 광주국제영화제)
