크리스틴은 가출한 아들 트리스탕을 찾기 위해 그녀가 젊었을 때 사귀던 두 남자를 찾아가 그들에게 각각 트리스탕의 친아버지라고 말하고 트리스탕을 찾아달라고 부탁한다. 이 이야기를 들은 소심하고 우울증에 빠져 있는 삐뇽과 거친 성격의 우락부락한 신문기자 루까는 17년만에 갑자기 생긴 얼굴도 본적이 없는 아들을 찾아 니스로 향한다. 자지가 친아버지라고 믿고있는 삐뇽과 루까는 우연히 만나게 되고 자신들이 같은 인물을 찾고있다는 사실을 모른채 트리스탕을 찾아 나선다. 우여곡절 끝에 트리스탕을 찾아낸 삐뇽과 루까. 그러나 두 사람이 모두 친아버지라고 갑자기 나타나자 당황한 트리스탕은 그들에게 반항하지만, 루까를 뒤쫓던 폭력 세력과의 총격전에서 삐뇽이 총상을 입자 이것을 계기로 트리스탕은 누가 친아버지인지 모르는 두 사람에게 진정한 아버지의 정을 느낀다.
