Pour monter son coup, il engage Louis, briseur de coffres, le chauffeur Gus, Dix Handley comme homme de main et Emmerich afin de financer l'opération. Celle-ci se déroule d'abord comme prévue, mais plusieurs petits détails et le comportement de chacun vont venir gripper la machine...
