The film presents the problem of women forced into prostitution abroad. Marysia Żurkówna is looking for a better life, she believes that when she leaves, she will go to a better world. A terrible disappointment awaits her. The "kind" people who organized her departure have prepared a cruel surprise for her - she is to become a prostitute. What can a lonely girl in a foreign country do in such a situation?
